City of Refuge
Jamaica's children are it's greatest asset. Tragically, numerous factors have caused too many of these precious children to end up living on the streets. Many of these children don't have a living parent, while others are in such unhealthy situations that street living is safer than what they face at home. The City of Refuge Children's Home was founded in 1997 to holistically help these children.
Children at the City of Refuge have a safe home led by loving house parents (a mother and father), clean clothing, nutritious food, emotional encouragement, access to medical care, a quality education and help on their spiritual journey.
